Intro
G’day mate, let’s go today
On an adventure, come what may!
Verse 1
Down in Australia, the sun shines so bright
Where cuddly koalas sleep all through the night
(Ooh-ooh, so sleepy)
They munch on gum leaves, way up in the trees
And feel the cool comfort of a gentle breeze
Chorus 1
Hop, hop, hop like a kangaroo
(Hop, hop)
Waddle like a wombat, me and you!
(Waddle, waddle)
Let’s explore this land so wide
With Aussie friends right by our side!
Verse 2
See the kookaburra, with a laugh so loud
Sitting on a branch, high above the crowd
(Hahaha, that’s funny!)
And platypus swimming in the river deep
Secrets of the water, they quietly keep
Chorus 2
Hop, hop, hop like a kangaroo
(Hop, hop, hop!)
Waddle like a wombat, me and you!
(Waddle and walk!)
Let’s explore this land so wide
With Aussie friends right by our side!
Instrumental Break
(woo-hoo!)
(Over here!)
(Let’s dance!)
(Yeah!)
Bridge
From the red desert to the ocean blue
So many wonders, waiting for you
Outro
Hooray for Australia!
(Hooray!)
What a wonderful day!
(Yeah!)
See you next time, mate!
